Frog Rock Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Rockislander: Thanks to all who have hunted this cache and also discovered the "Frog". The location of the cache was destroyed by new construction in the area. Maybe someone else would like to place a cache in the area. If not I may have an idea but it will be some time before I can place it.

Geocache Description:

Frog Rock micro.

The cache is a road side cache that is best approaced east bound on the Trans Canada Highway East of Lytton. From the cache look iinto the river. There is a large rock outcrop that at lower water levels resembles a bullfrog with his back against the current. At low water he is fully visible but at flood stage he can be fully submerged.
This is also a good vantage point to view the many river rafters as the come through the gorge. The hide itself will be fairly obvious. There are not too many places it could be. A good kid find.
