Geocache Description:

There were 2 Springhill Churches at this location. One for 'blacks' and one for "whites". The Cemetary was shared except for the crossfence..whites to the north, blacks to the south. The building IN the cemetary holds old tables and chairs for their "gatherings" twice a year. Read in the cache box what the gatherings were for. The "white" Springhill church moved to Oakland around 1900 where it still meets.
The 'black" Springhill church still meets across the road.
