This Green Spider lives in South Carolina

Mangora maculate

Spiders
All spiders are venomous, but only a couple of species in the US, the

Brown Recluse

and the

Black Widow

can do serious harm to humans via their venom. The Brown Recluse, which is most common in the central part of the US (and a major problem in Arkansas), is most often found indoors in old houses. Black Widows are generally found outside. The tarantulas of the Southwestern US sometimes bite in self-defense and can sometimes toss spine-like hairs at their attackers.
