Geocache Description:

You are seeking the small size Official Geocache rectangular container with camo tape added.

Note: This is an offset cache, so the actual cache is not at the above coordinates. You will need to find a clue at the coordinates and then do a few calculations to determine the coordinates of the actual cache. Note: You should not need to leave your car to collect the first clue, as it is visible from the street. Please do not go onto the school property while collecting the clue.

In 2010, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) celebrated 100 years of scouting and encourages everyone to "Get in the game" of Geocaching. Pack 23's contribution was placing this cache in our neighborhood. For more information on what scouts are doing with geocaching, see (visit link)

Pack 23 was chartered on 2/1/1932. Our chartering organization is Epiphany Lutheran Church, 314 W. Valette in Elmhurst, IL, which will be your second stop. Our scouts attend nearby Lincoln Elementary School, which is visable at your first stop, although any boys in grades 1-5 are welcome.

At the posted coordinates, locate the large green utility box which has a large 3-digit number clearly visable from the street. Add this number to the end of this coordinate to determine the final cache North coordinate:

N 41.52.581

Subtract this number from the end of this coordinate to determine the final cache West coordinate:

W 087.57.358

As an example, if the clue was 111, the answers would be:

N 41.52.692 and W 087.57.247

Tip - Approach the final coordinates from the West for easy parking.
