TTMTD-30 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

CTReviewer: Greetings from Geocaching.com

I have been looking at caches in the area that have been temporarily disabled for a while now and it looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to have it reposted, it will be no problem. Just drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your “My Cache Page” and clicking the link of your cache.

I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting. I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thanks for your understanding,
CTReviewer

Geocache Description:

While traveling to Cape Cod we decided to search for caches along our travel route. Fortunately, our time was flexible and we could arrive anytime we wanted. We decided to start earlier than usual to allow us to get as many 2.5 or less caches on the way. We came along a cache series, which I am sure are not unique to some of you, but we kind of like the idea of this series.

Because we have yet to come across any in CT, we thought we would continue the same series in our fine State. The names of those caches are, “Time to Make the Donuts (TTMTD).” These caches are a series we are doing and are a continuation of our other series of caches called “Nauga-Hide.” As you probably have already guessed it, these caches are hidden at or very near double Ds. While our plans for these caches are most often meant to be quick and easy to help cachers increase their numbers, some may require a bit of looking around. Most all of the caches will probably require you to be very stealthy.

Unless noted, all the caches are a small 35 mm film canister. It maybe magnetic, plain, camo’d, stashed, and/or just hanging around somewhere. There may be room to stash some micro coins or small TBs. Make sure you have something to sign the log. As with any of our caches, please secure the container and place it back properly to make it challenging for the next cacher.
