Crooke's Point trails run from from the bay to the beach, with an wide mix of very dense vegetation (including black cherry, bayberry, and yucca) lending a labyrinth-like feel to the jaunt.
A sensational range of birds twitter and cluck from within that overgrowth too, adding to the appeal of a fun, easy walk. The thickly wooded peninsula offers a small labyrinth of trails, sandy beaches, and a view of Raritan Bay and Great Kills Harbor.
Most vehicles will be able to go no further than the beach parking lot, although some which have a
special fishing/parking sticker can drive further in. From the beach lot you can head out towards Crooke's Point.
Pretty cool prizes for the first few to find the cache.
