This is one of thirteen caches that have been placed to celebrate the thirteen original colonies. Each of these colonies/states is rich in history and herstory related to the founding of this country. The road to freedom is not always straight and smooth. You’ll take a few twists and turns as you make your way to each of the colonies.
None of the caches are difficult and are close to pull-outs along the road. NONE are on private property. Most of the caches have room for small trade items. BYOP Satellite error averaged about 20’.
Be certain each cache is replaced and secured as you found it.
11/14/10 Cache has been replaced with smaller container. It's in the original location.
When you stop at each colony, make a note of the information circled in red on the front of the log. You will need this information to find Betsy Ross and Old Glory.
Rhode Island was the seventh colony recognized by the crown in 1636. It was the 13th and final state to ratify the Constitution on May 29, 1790
