Please use stealth and common sense in finding this cache. There
are times when there may be too many muggles around enjoying the
park for you to be able pull this cache out of its hiding place
without being noticed. Early morning or even after dark are the
safest times to try for this cache, but you aren't likely to see
skateboard tricks early or very late.
From
http://www.bryantx.gov/departments/default.asp?name=pf_williamson_park:
This park is home to the area's first skateboard park. Skateboard
ramps were installed on an old tennis court slab in 2003. The ramps
are fenced and lighted. The park is located on Williamson Drive, on
the shores of the Municipal Lake across from the Municipal Golf
Course. The park also has restrooms, two picnic pavilions with BBQ
grills, a basketball court and a large playground unit.
Enjoy the beautiful old oak trees and maybe you will have a kid
or a fun-loving adult with you who will enjoy the playground
equipment. There is a very interesting see-saw type toy that I
didn't get to try since I was in the park solo. If you get to try
it, please let me know how much fun it is in your log!
The initial inventory includes a Sacajawea dollar and a Susan B,
and two trackables, one of which is a FTF in Bryan/College Station
geocoin. The first finder is encouraged to take a trackable (or
both) and a dollar coin; the 2nd to find gets the remaining dollar
coin and any remaining trackables.
Congrats to NativTxn who had an inside track on FTF, and
Wigglebot for the FTF after the cache was formally published!
