Flat
Where eagles soar, but, in pre European times the big birds, Moa,
must have roamed in this area and kept the native grasses
trimmed.
A 15 minute drive from the Teviot Valley lets us escape to the
quiet hills where the vistas seem never-ending. And yes if you're
very observant there's a good chance you'll see a Kahu landing
nearby [a harrier hawk, our closest relative to an eagle on these
shores].
This is at the Eastern boundary of West Otago.
An easy, quick, drive-by.
The container is a small ex tablet bottle with a child proof screw
top. It is covered with black masking tape.
The contents are a logbook only.
