TSandCS: Really didn't want to archive this one but the "trails" are very overgrown at this point. I went to check on it and replace if need be but have to make the tough call to let it go. Sorry Chris.

Small camoflagued lock and lock that will have you crossing a small creek and following a trail to the end and then bushwacking a bit.
Entrance to trail is accessible from sunrise highway at N 40 40.592 W 073 27.818
Cache is located in wooded area to the east of the Bethpage Bikeway on the other side of the stream that leads to Massapequa lake.
One part of the trail will require you to cross a small creek, there is a "Bridge to Terabithia" constructed of various elements of the woods but can't count on it always being there nor that crossing the logs will not end up with a slip into ankle high muck.
Recall your entry into the bushwhacking phase as it is can be disorienting to find way back to trail. Look for the fallen tree that was at the end of the trail for a point to return to.
