The cache is located at one of the highest points of the Jura, at 1482 meters with a 360° views. On clear days you will be able to see Lake Geneva, the Alps, and great views of Lac de Joux and the surrounding valleys. To reach the cache it will take about a 15 minute hike from the parking.
The cache is a small tupperware container, which contains a log book and space for trade items, Travel Bugs and Geocoins. The cache is hidden slightly off the pathway on the way to the highest point, so should be out the way of most other visitors. This area can get quite busy in the summer so stealth may be needed.
Once you reach the top there are some benches to rest on, and at the bottom by the parking there is the 'Chalet Restaurant: Dent De Vaulion' where you can get a snack and drink (open May-October), and is also part of an old fort.
During winter, the road to the top is closed, so the best times to visit will be May-October (but you might still be able to reach the cache if you decide to walk up)
