This road can be VERY ROUGH. Go slow and watch for the rocks
growing in the road. They must be growing because they keep getting
taller every year until they are harvested!
You should not attempt this cache in early spring(mud season) or
late fall (after snow) unless you are comfortable with your
vehicles ability to get out of any mess you get into! The road is
also used by ATVs or snowmobiles based on the season.
I don't know the exact history of the farm and it was abandoned
and torn down before I was born. My mother used to tell us about
visiting relatives here when she was younger. We used to pick
raspberries before the foundation was filled in and the area was
used as a logyard.
There are some pictures somewhere of the farm and I will add
some to the listing as I find them. Many of the Mitchells, my
great-great.. relatives who lived here, are buried in the Pressy
cemetery where GCZK0X - knocking on heaven's door is located.
Watch out for ATVs on the road and bring gallons of bug
repellant!
