Geocache Description:

Micro container with log book only

1st in the Boscastle to Crackington coastal walk.

Placed with kind permission of the [National Trust]
Also in a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).Please be mindful of this when searching

The National Trust owns and cares for the beautiful medieval harbour and coastline on either side. The small harbour now hosts a number of little fishing boats but was once a hive of activity, with trade taking place between Wales, Bristol and the south of England.
The path runs between a stone hedge, covered in sea ivory lichen and the open maritime grassland topping the cliffs. This grassland is one of our rarest habitats and features many wild flowers..

The coastal path keeps fairly close to the cliffs and offers excellent views throughout. There are dramatic changes in terrain.

The paths can be slippery in wet weather. Please keep to the marked trail. Keep dogs & small children on a lead.

Caches are hidden on the pathway, just a few feet off to the side at most. There should be no reason to leave the path

After the hike up the hill you will need a well deserved rest. Sit on the chair.
