Geocache Description:

Cache is a Rubbermaid containter about 6"x6" and 3" deep. Paths are generally level and it's just over 1 km from parking.

Location of the Cache is near some historical sites of Calgary. The building blocks of some of the oldest buildings in Calgary came from here. Sandstone was taken from the quarries, and brick was made at the first albertan brick factory nearby, Brickburn. If interested, you can read all about this history of this area by clicking here.

Contents of Cache include:

  • Notepad for Logging
  • Air Transat compact headphones
  • Chums Sunglass straps
  • 2 WestJet Pins
  • 2 Pens
  • Carabiner
  • Large Maginfying glass
  • Small folding Magnifying glass
  • Keychain Jacknife
  • Keychain Compass
  • Blue Angels Pin
  • Lighter from Amsterdam

This cache is a winter friendy cache, and is placed in such a way that snow won't cover it (hint). However, it is quite close to an active railway, so make sure pets are on a leash!
