This cache is in an area of great beauty throughout the seasons.And
access is available from 0800 to darkness every day throughout the
year.Parking and toilets are available near the car park.
This cache is Accessed via the National Trust land at Allen Banks
near Bardon Mill. It is best to park in the car park(please pay the
parking as the monies go towards the upkeep of the area).Leave the
car park area and follow the the purple arrows on the post
markers.Then cross over the suspension bridge and following the
purple arrows towards the:-"TARN".When reaching point
N54º57.823,W002º18.871 look across to the right and take the
track.After passing the large stone on the left its then a case of
searching.After locating the cache, either follow the track and
take the first path on the right and wind down to the river below
or retrace your route to point N54º57.823,W002º18.871 then make a
visit to the Tarn on your way back down.Who knows what can be found
there(another cache perhaps).Be aware that the paths can be
slippery in places as can stone steps during damp conditions.Dogs
are allowed. Access to the cache is only reached on foot.
