Geocache Description:

River Ayr Walk runs alongside the River Ayr from it's source at Glenbuck until it reaches the sea at Ayr a distance of around 42 miles

This section of the walk covers the area between Ballochmyle, near Mauchline, to Sorn further east

This cache is located on the edge of Sorn village. Sorn is a peaceful wee village, very green and picturesque in summer and could fit in a Christmas card come the snow of winter. The village pub has an excellent restaurant, which comes highly recommended!
