Surrounded by picturesque hills Marl Pits is the home of our local rugby team, harriers, swimming pool, a golf driving range (in development) and last but not least, our netball team!!! Enjoy a walk through the fields and surrounding area, pause to watch a match if you are lucky enough to visit at the right time. This cache can easily be linked to others around Rawtenstall for a lovely circular walk around town and surrounding areas.
The cache is an official geocache locking box with log book and a few items to swap chosen by the little menaces.
