Geocache Description:


Trees of Alabama Series: Black Walnut - (Juglans nigra Juglandaceae). Deciduous hardwood found commonly in all regions of Alabama. The cache container is a small Lock-N-Lock. The commercially valuable wood is used for furniture and veneer. The nuts are eaten by squirrels and people. There is a picture of a Black Walnut and it's leaves on the cache log. Please return cache as found.
