The cache is a small 400ml snap lock container. Follow the path up the hill from Mt Albert Rd and turn right at the top you should follow a rocky,muddy track till you get to the trig station then you should see a concrete bunker or a grass track to the bunker.
The WW2 post use to be observation post in WW2 for spotting warships and submarines heading for Lyall Bay or Island Bay.
