Make a quick pitstop at Carter Park.
I'm amazed no one else had hidden a cache here, I've had my eye on this place for a long time. This stretch of highway 395 needs more caches (HINT HINT!).
I placed this toward the back of the park, near where the highway used to be.
There's a restroom (in season). You'll encounter barricades at the entrance during the off-season, but you can still walk back to the cache. This will be a difficult find in winter (depending upon snow depth, you may not be able to park at the turnoff in the winter).
You're seeking a lock-n-lock with logbook and swag. It's pretty simple and straight-forward.
