Welcome to Newton Township Park. I grew up in this area and have been wanting to put caches out here for a long time. We have some acreage in the area and will be coming here quite a bit in the coming years.
This park and play area is the site of the old Gould City School. The building is demolished now but the site hosts some playground equipment for the little ones, a basketball court and a tennis court. Now it has a geocache too! Check out the historical marker for cool facts.
The cache is a smaller cookie tin hidden in a supported manner. Please respect park hours as they close at dusk. No camping is allowed. Please hide as well if not better than found.
