Elberta Dunes South Cache
Dunes, forests, panorama views of Lake Michigan are part of this 58 acres of land in the village of Elberta. This parcel of land is now owned by a private party. For several years the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy has had an option to buy the property in partnership with the village of Elberta. Additional funds are being pledged for the establishment of the property as a nature preserve. Soon the funding will make this new preserve a reality for all to enjoy. This natural area will be used by the public for hiking, swimming, fishing, as well as other activities.
