We were here visiting my folks again and decided to hide another cache in the are. My parents live in the narrows and enjoy keeping our caches up to date and in good condition.
Castle Island is one of my very favorite places to go when we are visiting Alaska. We pretend that it is a pirate hideout with our kids and they just love it!! I celebrated my birthday while on our trip and I wanted to have a bbq picnic on the castle to celebrate. So we loaded up our boat and headed out. It was pouring down rain so we took shelter in the cave and had our celebration. It was a great birthday memory. We decided to hide another cache on the island to help celebrate the day and to get even more people out here to see this unique spot. We hide this cache near the "camping" area of the island. I left a very detailed clue so that all can find the cache. Please re-hide well so that this cache stays safe. Happy Hunting!
