Geocache Description:

Near the summit of Roche á Perdrix above the east gate of Jasper National Park

The cache is located near the summit of Roche á Perdrix mountain (2135 m) immediately south of Highway 16 and just east of Jasper National Park. There is plenty of parking near the trailhead.

The cache is approximately 1100 metres in elevation above and 4km (via the scramble route) from the highway.
Grades are moderate to steep so be prepared for a bit of a workout, wear proper clothing and be sure to bring water. Geocachers might want to consult 'SCRAMBLES in the Canadian Rockies' by Alan Kane for suggested routing information.
