En cache för Stockholms hbt-historia
(hbt: homosexuella, bisexuella och transpersoner).
Publicerad under Stockholm Pride 2010.

A cache for the LGBT history in Stockholm
(LGBT: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender/Transsexual).
Published during Stockholm Pride 2010.

1944 avkriminaliserades homosexuella handlingar i Sverige, men klassades istället som mentalsjukdom.
Den 19 oktober 1979 togs sjukdomsstämpeln bort, efter en sittstrejk onsdagen den 29 augusti i Socialstyrelsens trapp.

Homosexual acts were decriminalized in Sweden 1944, but instead classified as mental disorder.
19 October 1979, homosexuality was no longer classified as a mental disorder in Sweden, as a result of a sit-in on the stairs of Socialstyrelsen (the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare) on 29 August earlier that year.





Mottagningen är inte den bästa där cachen är gömd, "men den är inte inmurad, och du behöver inte bli överkörd".

The reception isn't the best where the cache is hidden, "but it's not bricked in, and there's no need to be run over".

Var snäll och se till att geocachen återplaceras så att den sitter där den ska (synlig "från rätt vinkel" och nåbar för cachare, men osynlig för mugglare).

When replacing the geocache, please make sure it's put where it's supposed to be (visible "from the right angle" and within reach for cachers, but invisible for mugglers).



Cachen är inte försedd med snöflingeattributet ("available in winter" - tillgänglig vintertid), men har med framgång loggats även under de kallare månaderna av året. Oavsett när du loggar den här cachen ska den vara lätt att ta fram (sitter den fast så är den inte loggbar).
Reskryp är jättekul, men tänk gärna på att anpassa valet av landningsplats efter storleken på resekrypet - cachebehållaren blir inte större bara för att du trycker lite extra.

The cache does not have the snowflake attribute ("available in winter"), but has been logged successfully even during the colder months of the year. No matter when you log this cache, it's supposed to be easily accessed (if it's stuck, it's not logable).
Travel bugs are great fun, but please make sure the container suits the size of your travel bug - the cache container will not get bigger just because you're cramming things into it.
