Geocache Description:

Island cache accessible by watercraft, otherwise terrain is easy. Footwear helpful.

Located on a public access island in Lake Norman. Accessible by watercraft. Shallow at times between islands and between island and shore. Nice beach when lake level is down, bring swimsuits and a picnic lunch. Some thorns and bugs, possibly other critters, use caution when lifting or moving vegetation or dead wood/plants. Leave area in as good or better condition, please pack out your trash and maybe others'. Keep the lake beautiful. Not hard to find, good one for kids. Footwear useful. Initial cache had a travel item relocated from west coast, as well as some small trinkets, a log and pencil. Our first attempt at hiding a cache. Have fun, good luck! ~ Lottafergs
