Come and join us at a get-together at the Hunters Lodge on
the evening of Saturday 11th September. The Pub opens at 6-00pm and
Food is served between 6-30pm and 9-00pm. The landlord, Neville,
has offered us the exclusive use of the Restaurant / Garden area/
Bar or the whole Pub whichever best suits our numbers. Therefore,
please let us know, at least a week before the event, if you are
planning to attend and whether you will be eating or not so that
necessary arrangements can be made.
The Hunters Lodge will have a full menu available for the
evening and a link to this will be uploaded shortly.
The pub is child friendly and dogs are allowed in the bar
areas with well behaved owners.
A lot of new comers have started caching in the area recently
and this will be a good opportunity for all to meet up in a relaxed
atmosphere over a drink or two and to put faces to names.
Attending the event will be Shane & Josie from
Australia who completed the Magnificent Journey last year and are
keen to visit the cache site on their UK visit. We are planning a
Travel Bug race in conjunction with this event and Shane and Josie
have agreed to take the racing Bugs back to Australia with them.

training now.
New caches will be available for the event. For cachers
coming to the area for a days caching, a prerelease copy of all new
caches will be available for collection from behind the bar earlier
in the day ie 11-30 to 3-00. An envelope will be addressed to each
cacher who has said that they will attend.
Please therefore, if you are planning to attend ensure you have
logged in your intention and if you do not want a copy of the new
ones before their release the following day, please send me an
email.
