The cache is located on a bridle path which runs between Clehonger and Cobhall Common 3 to 4 miles south-west of Hereford.
The original cache was a small (300ml) black, screw top tub and is hidden at the base of a tree. It is probably still there but the holly has become too dense to find it without elbow length falconry gloves or similar!
****NEW CONTAINER IS A LONG BLACK TUBE WITH A WHITE LID****
There is only room for the log and one or two tiny items, bring your own pen.
This could be a cache and dash from Cobhall Common but the bridle path it is on is criss-crossed with well defined (dog-friendly) paths so it is possible to do a long or short circular walk. The cache can also be reached via the footpath on Gosmore Road in Clehonger. In the summer months there are often lots of butterflies in the area, hence the name!
