This is our first hide and hopefully we will have more. My children assisted with this cache so it is filled with goodies that any child would enjoy. They are eager to see how many people can find it.
This is located in the Kirkland Town park trails. We started at the trail that starts behind the playground, but a more direct start would be at N43 01.597 W 075 22.871. When you pull into the park, drive straight ahead and park by the playground. The trail is easy to navigate but closer to the cache the trail does have a steep slope with a set of stairs. The slope is not that hard to navigate, my children had no trouble at all. There also are some tree roots on the trail, so sneakers are highly recommended so that you don't stub a toe.
The cache is decent sized that holds quite a bit. It is a cedar cigar box with great art on it. Once you find it, you won't be able to miss it! There are a few goodies along with paper and a pencil. We hope that you are "havana" good time looking for it.
