A nice drive to an interesting object.
This cache was placed in the exact same spot as a previously
archived cache (GCKAV7). The previous cache went missing some time
ago and I just had to put a cache in this interesting place. This
unusual rock is not advertised as a turist attraction although in
my opinion, it should be. Few people outside the area even know
about it. There are some additional pictures on the listing of the
previous cache. To reach this cache take Beasore road (pronounced
Bay-Sore) from the Bass Lake road on the north side of Bass Lake.
Just follow the road up to the cache. Don't forget to stop at
Jone's Store for a great hamburger. Don't forget to take your
camera for the traditional shot of yourself or your partner holding
up the rock. Cache contains all kinds of goodies including a
surprise for FTF or STF. You are looking for an ammo can. The point
of this cache is not to lead you to difficult cache but to get you
an very interesting place. There is paved road all the way to the
cache but it is not accessible when there is snow i the area.
