Geocache Description:

Decided to start this series out here due to the endless amount of these i have.
IF YOU THINK THIS IS AN EASY GET TO LOCATION LOOK AT THE SATELITE IMAGING. I cant stress that enough

Access to these are available from princess dr. and scottsdale rd. Must walk. I suggest biking, for there are several caches out here. Just south of Princess Drive, on Scottsdale Road is a traffic light that is named simply 17050 North Scottsdale Road. Turn west at this light, which will take you into an apartment complex called "Pillar at Scottsdale." Navigate your way through the parking lots to the very SW corner of the property, and there is a Waste Management Dumpster next to the fence that surrounds the CAP. For whatever reason, there is a hole cut into the fence here, to allow people to step through to get to the other side of the fence. Once through the fence, go directly west, straight up the hill in front of you (you will have to make this climb regardless, so trust us... this is the time to do it!) At the top of the hill is a nice flat, gravel path that goes all the way around the canal, and it beats walking on the side of the hill for the majority of the trek. When you reach the top of the hill, and are on the path, you will have about a .25 mile walk before your compass will begin to spin to the north to get you to climb DOWN the hill to GZ. To return, simply reverse directions and take the path back to the beginning, climb down the hill, and back to the hole in the fence. TAKE WATER WITH YOU ON THIS WALK! There is no shade whatsoever, and it is brutal this time of year. Thx to Desert_Trailblazers for the parking/navigation. I highly suggest a bike to bring along for walking this is truly tiring, and will drain you of your energy quickly.
