Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Black Partridge Park just north of Metamora.Cache hidden with permission of Metamora Park District. Park closes at sundown.

Black Partridge Park has several baseball diamonds, football fields, picnic shelters, restrooms and ample playground equipment. It also has a restored log cabin that was built in 1836. The cabin is open for tours during the summer on Sundays 1:00 - 4:00pm. There are several miles of trails maintained by the Peoria Area Mountain Bike Association on 400+ acres.

Cache is a short walk past the Lee cabin.You are looking for a cameoed lock&lock container. Cache is just off a wide grassy level path.( cache is also easily accessed from trail #3 ) If you intend to hike farther into the park for more caches, be sure to down load a trail map from the Peoria Area Mountain Bike Association's web site at http:/www.pambamtb.org Best parking for caching is at the back of the park at N 40 47.979 W 089 23.272
