Muppet95: I have been informed that the popular tourist attraction 'Utes in the Paddock' is being relocated from Ootha to Condobolin.
At the time of archiving this cache, the utes have been put into storage to undergo 3-6 months of restoration. They will then be relocated to a 25 acre block on The Gipps Way, making the attraction more accessible to more passing tourists.
The first Ute was installed in 2009 and by 2013 the last of the 20 Utes were installed here. I was lucky enough to visit in 2010 and decided to place a cache to encourage more visitation.
I'd like to thank the geocachers out there that helped replaced the container throughout the years. In the big scheme of things the cache has stood the test of time, and I am quite proud of that. I appreciate the Lachlan Shire Council for keeping the public informed on what is happening with the Utes.
I look forward to seeing a new cache at the new location of the 'Utes in the Paddock'.
