Geocache Description:

A nano cache in a cemetery.

This is the Christ Church Graveyard. It is in behind the Anglican Christ Church of North Douro (or Lakefield as we call it now). This is a very old church, established in 1853. It still functions as a church having services on Sunday at 9 a.m. It also functions as The Christ Church Community Museum which is open daily 1pm - 4pm from July 1st to Labour Day.
Please take some time to walk around the cemetery and notice the familar names that are still common to the area.
There is a historical plague beside the church dedicated to Col. Samuel Strickland. Many of his relatives are buried in the graveyard. Strickland is well known name around here.
There is parking both in front and behind the church.
There is a business just southeast of the graveyard. I have pushed the difficulty level up for this one because it is a nano and the stealth that will likely be needed. Experienced cachers will probably find this easy.
Bring your own pen. Please take care with the cache container and replace it to the same location.
Remember this is a very old cemetery and it is very important to the people of Lakefield. Visit this site with the upmost level of respect.
