The concept of a letterbox has always intrigued me, but I do not
see a lot of them around. This is my first attempt at a letterbox,
so excuse the elementary writeup, I am no Red Rose. I will try in
get better in the future.
When you arrive at the given coordinates, you will see a rock,
which dedicates this park to the brave firefighters of Litchfield,
past, present, and future. Head north from this rock till take a
seat where a former Fire Chief is located.
Once you are here, there is an obvious way to go to the NE. Make
the crossing and continue on till you see a large bush in a wooden
box. Turn east here continue to this fence or bench, I am not sure
which. Here you have a great photo opportunity of a the Litchfield
dam.
After taking your photos, the little ones may like to swing.
Head at a bearing of around 110 degrees and you will find a swing
set. Two of these are not horses, go to the one on the east side.
Now follow its heading (I would not recommend a gunner), till you
see a tree line. Here you will find a prize.
I hope you have enjoyed this letterbox, any suggestions for
improvement are more than welcome.
