Cache is about half a mile up a mostly level packed dirt trail in the Tongass National Forest.
Indian River Trail is a 4.3 mile (one way) trail through old growth forest along the scenic Indian River, ending at the rather impressive and always photogenic Indian River Falls. Total elevation gain 700 feet. Cache is about 0.7 miles along this trail.
From the Sawmill Creek road, turn up Indian River Road and follow to the parking area at the end.

Cache is a 7x7x5 inch tupperware. GPS reception in the woods is not always the best.
Cache was placed with a local friend who has generously agreed to assist with cache maintenence.
