From the parking place head ESE to the start of the ridge, then
turn NE and follow the ridge to the summit. The climb has some
steep areas, esp. in the first third.
Choose a path up the mountain that you will be able to use on

The hike from the car park to the cache is approx 2 hours. The
altitude difference is 630m. Proper waterproof walking boots/gear
and gaiters are required. Depending on the time of the year this
area can be very boggy.
There are fantastic views of the peaks of the Twelve Pins - also
east to the Maumturk Mountains and north to the Mweelrea
Mountains.
