This is almost a drive in-cache. If you are on your way to your holiday, this is the perfect place to stop and refresh.
Westgate opened in November 2009 and is the most attractive (and biggest) Shopping Center in Southeast-Europe. It's located right beside the motorway A2 in a beautiful countryside only a few kilometers west of Zagreb.
There are 260 shops with many international fashion brands, 4.000 m2 free-Kidsworld, many cafes, restaurants, a skating rink and a lot of entertainment-facilities.
The surrounding grassland is habitat of a variety of different species of amphibians (e.g. Hyla arborea), rare insects and endangered plants like Fritillaria meleagris.
Leave the motorway at "Exit Pojatno". If you reach the first roundabout, turn right (if you come from Zagreb or the motorway) and follow the signs to the park-deck. You can leave your car here. If you do not want to come by car, you can also use one of the four free-buslines, that connect Zagreb with Westgate.
It is not a very big box, but a few Travelbugs oder Geocoins will certainly find space. Happy caching!
