PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CACHE WILL BE ARCHIVED
IN SEPTEMBER TO MAKE ROOM FOR NEW CACHES AT THE OPEN TRAILS
HENDERSON EVENT ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2011.
A palindrome is a word, phrase, number or other sequence of units
that can be read the same way in either direction. Sometimes
latitude and longitude co-ords can even be palindromes, which is
the case for this cache.
Credit must be given to "Hard Oiler" for providing the inspiration
behind this cache! Conservation Authority Personnel remind us that
there is a small entry fee into the Conservation Area. When the
attendant isn't present, there is a self-service drop box by the
gate house. Also make note of the park hours as the entrance gates
are locked each night. Please remember that off trail hiking is
discouraged as it negatively impacts on the environment. Parking is
available at: N42.52.688 W082.11.204. In the off season, (October
to April) parking may not be available when the front gate is
closed. If you do gain access to the parking lot, please park close
to the Nature Education Centre so that Conservation Authority Staff
don't accidently lock you onto the property. Please rehide
carefully. There are a lot of exploring young muggles, especially
during the camping season.
