Geocache Description:

We would hope that parents will take their children with them to this site and let them know of the things these members have done for all of us. If it was not for the commitment and sacrifices this group has made, they may not have had the freedom and opportunity to fulfill their future dreams.

It is not the price I paid for membership, It's the price I paid to become eligible. Membership in this group can only be gained by being a US citizen and currently in our Armed Forces or been Honorably discharged. Membership also requires military service overseas during a conflict and decorated with an expeditionary medal, a campaign medal or ribbon. Members are involved with todays youth in programs such as their Youth Scholarship program that provides more than $3.5 million in scholarships, they partner with the Boy Scouts of America, they are involved in their Safety Program to promote bicycle safety as well as programs dealing with drug awareness and substance abuse and have their National Home for Children. They have made a commitment to our nations youth which should be appreciated and not forgotten about. If you see one of their members say "thanks" and welcome home.
