All The Buzz Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

MN.Fruitcake: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact me (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, I'll be happy to unarchive it.

***NOTE: If you have any questions, do not reply to the archive note email. Click on the link to go to the cache page and click on my name in the archive log at the bottom of the page. You can then send me an email regarding the cache. Please send me a link to the cache in question so I will know which cache it is regarding. I will not see notes posted to this cache page once it is archived.

Thanks for your understanding,

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Boulder Lake Management Area of the beautiful Cloquet Valley State Forest. Turn off St. Louis County Hyw #4 on State Forest Road 962 (Buzz Ryan Road).
Coordinates: N47 04.614
W092 07.175
Park and walk (about 1.5 miles) or drive in toward cache

J.C. "Buzz" Ryan (deceased) was a Civilain Conservation Corps (CCC) forester, writer, historian, and for over 40 years was regional forester in the Cloquet Valley State Forest. north of Duluth, Minnesota. This road is named in his honor. Take this opportunity to explore a part of this area and all it has to offer.
The Buzz Ryan Road is a dirt/gravel road that narrows as you get toward the cache and except in the winter (it's not plowed) or extreme wet conditions (there maybe minor wet spots) is accessible by any two wheel drive vehicle. If you drive in there is a wide area in the road near the cache where you can park. Use caution during deer season in November, there will be hunters. The cache is about 6 feet off the road so there won't be any major bushwacking. It's high enough off the ground so it won't be buried during the winter. Please camouflage as found (you'll know what I mean when you see it).
Enjoy the woods!
