Geocache Description:

A Tribute to the very First Geocache we Found

On December 28, 2004, we found our very first geocache, entitled “GeoTreasure” (GCKYCR). It was a regular ammo box hide, filled with the usual trinkets and trade items. Like many others, we were hooked after this first find. Now, as we close in on Find #1,000, we decided to pay tribute to our very first find by placing a new cache in the exact same location.

The original ammo box has long since been muggled and the cache archived, so we are replacing it with a small bison tube. It should remain winter-friendly and more muggle-resistant. Be sure to bring along a pen or pencil, and please re-hide the cache exactly as you found it. Parking is available in the nearby soccer field parking lot, or you can park along Melgaard Road, west of the bridge. Good Luck!
