Could this be the site of
some strange alien aircraft crash
landing??
On a more serious note,
this park has been dedicated to the men and women of the armed
forces that have served for our country.
In fact the
whole White Box Rise estate itself serves as a
memorial.
The land the
estate now sits on was once government owned and part of the nearby
Bandiana Barracks but has since bee reclaimed and rezoned for
residential purposes. Planners have even made way for a new school
and shopping center (yet to be built).
The new dual
lane road for most part used to be called Pearce St is now Victoria
Cross Parade, with the small street running from it named after
Victorian Cross recipients.
Now for the cache. The posted co
ords will take you to the park, there is parking nearby.
In order to find the "black Box" you will need to add up all the
years on the round plaques along the path.
This will equal A B C D
