Le barrage de Cleuson (2'189m).
Malgré que le barrage soit accessible en hiver, il est recommandé
de le visiter plutôt pendant la saison sans neige.
En été, ou en automne ou printemps dès qu'il n'y a plus de neige,
il s'agit d'une promenade pour toute la famille. Prenez le
télésiège "Combatseline" de Siviez. Le sentier le long de l'ancien
Bisse de Chervé va vous emmener jusqu'au barrage. Le lac presque
vide après l'hiver est bien rempli à la fin de l'été ou en automne
avec de l'eau cristalline et turquoise. La nature se reflète dans
le miroir du lac ce qui donne l'impression d'être plus proche du
ciel.
Au bord du lac de Cleuson, la chapelle St-Barthélémy est la plus
haute de la Commune et la plus ancienne chapelle de Nendaz. Avant
la construction du barrage, elle était située dans le vallon de
Cleuson, sur la rive droite, construite en bois. En 1951, les
ouvriers du barrage ont construit une nouvelle chapelle en pierre,
à l’emplacement actuel.
Bonnes chaussures, crème solaire, un chapeau et la bonne humeur
sont nécessaires pour y arriver.

Although the dam is accessible in winter it is advisable to visit
it during the season without snow.
In summer or autumn/spring when there is no snow any more, the
whole family will enjoy the hike. Take the chairlift "Combatseline"
from Siviez. The path along the former Bisse of Chervé will bring
you to the dam. The lake nearly empty after the winter is very full
at the end of summer or in autumn with crystal clear turquoise blue
water. Nature is reflected in the mirror of the lake which gives
the impression of being closer to the sky.
Lakeside Cleuson, the chapel of St. Bartholomew is the highest of
the Commune and the oldest chapel in Nendaz. Before the dam, it was
located in the valley of Cleuson on the right bank, built of wood.
In 1951, the dam workers built a new stone chapel at the current
location.
Good shoes, sunscreen, hat and good mood are necessary to get
there.
