Geocache Description:

The Bubonic Cache

You are looking for a small “container”; the cache itself, a keychain pill container, is hidden within and is actually a micro, so no room for anything but the logbook. There is a small pencil, but it would be a good idea to bring your own pen for this cache.

This cache, located on Highway D north of Lake Tomahawk will take you near a popular little fishing spot on the Wisconsin River. Be on the lookout for herons, eagles, osprey, swans and geese as well as otters and muskrats. There is parking very close to the cache site as well as a parking area just a very short ways north on the same side of the road.

As this cache is near the highway and the river, please be careful and mindful, especially if you have little cachers with you. Please rehide the cache as well as you found it or better in the same spot.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Kim Krawczyk of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form, which you can find HERE.
