Geocache Description:

This is one of three caches that I have placed at Ferne Clyffe State Park. Ferne Clyffe is a very special place to me. This is where I discovered one of the first reported collared lizards in Illinois. The specimen was a juvenile female. It was later discovered that this individual was one of several in a colony displaced as an eastern subspecies of Collaris.

This cache contains a log and a mechanical pencil.

You can park at 37° 32.564N and 88°58.826W.
You will need to cross the creek by walking on "the downed tree."

Head toward the bluff.
