Geocache Description:

While the title is 'Windy Corners' the exact position of the cache may not be exactly at the windy corner so look around. This cache is placed in memory of Chester the Cat who walked and stalked the area for many years.

The Hillendale Phillips St. area of Kingston is an older neighbourhood with tree-lined streets, quiet, and many streets are 'no exit' making traffic minimal even though only a short distance from a major intersection. The 'school' nearby used to be a school, then a museum, and now it is empty. The cache is not close to the school. The area was once inhabited by Chester the Cat, and it is in his memory the cache has been placed. Chester was an intrepid hunter of birds, but he did not care much for mice. He was a remarkable animal with a generous spirit that lasted 15 years; and despite a stroke affecting his back legs, he still manged to jump 6' fences with a bound.
