Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Dehcho Cache #7 - Wrigley (Pehdzeh Ki)! This is the seventh in a series that will hopefully, one day, include every community in the Dehcho Region and some other sites of interest to boot!

The lands surrounding Wrigley are the home of the Pehdzeh Ki First Nation. This beautiful community overlooks the mighty Mackenzie River.

This cache is hidden outside of town near the trailhead for the very pretty Smith River Falls. If you've traveled this far, why not stretch your legs and go for a hike? I highly recommend it.

There is a good (but sometimes soggy) trail which will lead you to the falls. There are multiple cascades and an abundance of marine fossils, so walk up the riverbed and do some exploring! (But please leave the fossils for others to enjoy.)

The co-ordinates for the falls are:
N 63 10.952
W 123 18.319

When placed, this cache contained:
- 1 log book (please leave in cache)
- 1 mechanical pencil with spare lead (please leave in cache)
- 1 log book (please leave in cache)
- 1 mechanical pencil with spare lead (please leave in cache)
- 1 blue bead necklace (The beadwork in Wrigley is phenomenal. You really should ask about it while you're in town. There may be some for sale in the community stores.)
- 1 Skagway centennial "coin" (To commemorate the crazy Klondikers who tried to get to Dawson City via the much longer and much more difficult "overland-All-Canadian" route.)
- 4 dinosaur eggs (This area and the area north of here is rich in fossils)
- 1 pealess metal whistle on a string (If you blow a whistle here, will anyone hear you?)
- 2 Decks of "Canada" cards (Something to keep you occupied if you get caught on this side of the Mackenzie when the ferry isn't running.)
