A decent sized pullout along Washington Street proves ample
parking. Drivers sometimes fly up and down this stretch of road so
use appropriate caution. Please replace the cache in a
well-concealed fashion.

The northern end of Washington Street in Yountville makes for one
of the most scenic, albeit shortest, backroad drives in the entire
Napa Valley. The road, less than a mile in length, is flanked by a
quaking, green sea of vineyards on one side and the alternating
green and gold of an oak woodland on the other. A less traveled
alternative to Highway 29, the road's numerous pullouts afford
shade-strewn lunch spots for vineyard workers, much needed rest
stops for the valley's bicyclists, or just a quiet vantage point to
sit on the hood of the car and take in a sunset over the
vines.
