Magnetic Nano
The locals and cottagers of the Village of Dunnotar and area have used this artesian well for years and some still use it today to get their water. Cold, clear, ever flowing water.
My family needed to use this artesian well when we first got our cottage almost 40 years ago. Now I live year round in that same cottage and even tho I don’t need to use the well any longer, it still holds fond memories for me, going to get water with Grandpa when I was younger. The area has changed a lot over the years. At this spot, there is a memorial to Colleen Miller – Olympic rowing champion and former Dunnotar resident. There is also a place to sit and enjoy the wonderful view of Lake Winnipeg. Hope you enjoy your visit.
